How do I get my free browsing data? This is the part you have to read carefully so as not to have faults along the process.
For every N500 recharge made on your glo sim, you will be rewarded with 25mb.
Whenever you recharge N1000, you'll be rewarded with 50mb.
All recharge has to be made once! If you recharge N100 five times, you won't get the free data unless you recharge a full N500 scratch card at once.
You might also be lucky to get free data if you recharge frequently (even if it's N100 per recharge)

How do I check how much data Am being given?
Its no use if you don't know how much free browsing data you have on your sim.
This is no problem as you can request for it at anytime
Simply dial 1241 on your glo sim and listen very attentively to the voice prompt. You'll be told your current account balance, mms units and remaining data.
You might want to hold a pen to write out the given data which will be broken to kilobytes (kb).
After writing out your remaining data, divide it by 1024 and whatever answer you get is your remaining data in mb.
Example: if your remaining data plan is 25600kb, divide it by 1024 and your answer will be 25 which means your remaining data is 25mb.
Now, to make this free data work, you have to modify your internet settings to the ones below:
APN/Access Point: glosecure
Username: gprs
Password: gprs
If you try to browse with your free data without using the above settings, I'm afraid your airtime will be deducted.
