It's so rare to see the clause 'Forgot My Password' below google sign in forms meanwhile users might mistakenly loose password.
Incase you have an abandoned Gmail account due to forgotten password issue, no need to worry, Simply read the instructions below carefully:
First you need to get the mobile number you used while registering that google account as you'd be required to provide a short code sent to it.
Now, you need to visit www.google.com/accounts/recovery then click enter the gmail address of the account you want to recover the password in the text box provided and submit; If google verifies that email address as a valid one, then you'd be asked to submit the phone number you used in registering that account.
Enter it then click on continue. Wait for the sms/voice call to beep your phone, Submit the short code sent to you then click on continue again.
Once the code has been verified successfully, you'll be asked to enter your new password to recover your Google Account.
