Apple to discontinue ping from iTunes

Ping is a service that allows iTunes users to share music tracks with friends and also follow artists.
More like a social-music network.
So now, Apple has decided to discontinue this service starting from the 30th of September, probably because very few users make use of it; Nevertheless, Facebook will be integrated into iTunes for better and easier music sharing.
