Globacom Nigeria's variety of internet browsing access points had been a major challenge of her average users who don't know much about internet browsing configuration.
For your information, there are two
recognised access points for browsing the internet using a glo sim, these access points serve two different purposes but all trailing on the path of allowing your access the internet from your mobile phone or pc.

1. Glo Direct or Glo Mobile Internet access point:
   This access point or configuration settings is strictly for browsing the internet using your available airtime...
   Note that this access point does not work if you're trying to use a data plan or data bonus to access the internet on your mobile phone or pc.
   
   Access Point Settings►►►
   APN: glosecure
   Username: secure
   Password: secure
   IP and Port: You can leave blank.
   
2. Glo Flat Access Point:
   This access point is otherwise and let's you access the internet using the available data bundle or data bonus you have on your mobile phone or pc.
   
   Access Point Settings►►►
   
   APN: gloflat
   Username: flat
   Password: flat
   
   

This update should address the problem of having your airtime deducted instead of your subscribed internet data plan.
